NEWS FOR END OF MARCH 2009
Dear Friends,
Norwich Central Baptist Church, Norwich, and Acomb Baptist Church, York, have been my most recent venues, as I am approaching the end of my time in the UK. The former now has the renovation to an old post-war Baptist church completed, which has transformed it into an amazing facility. In between these churches I have been able to visit an uncle, an aunt, and various old friends including the Gordon family and the Briggs family. I have a few more engagements in Andover with Andover Baptist church, the last being on Monday 20th April, then on 21st April I hope to set off back for Kenya.
Please pray for the executive board meeting of the AVM (Alliance for Vulnerable Mission), that is to be on the 16th April over the internet. That will be the point at which to make decisions about future activities of the AVM. I have still had very little news from Kenya, so have a lot to catch up on when I get back.
Many thanks again to all the people who have welcomed me so warmly into their fellowships and homes!
Jim
