NEWS MID AUGUST 2010
Dear Friends,
95 students, members of the Makerere University (Uganda) Christian Union, are now staying in the secondary school that is just a mile from my home and are carrying out evangelism and crusades in this area. Pray for God to be with them, and for many to come to know Christ as a result.
Give thanks for the peaceful referendum we had here in Kenya on 4th August. The peacefulness of the event is helping to restore confidence in the democratic process. The new constitution was accepted, although it was a bit disappointing that this happened despite many churches having opposed it.
21st August we are to bury the wife to the bishop of Church of God Kenya; that promises to be a big event. 28th is the wedding of a lad who stayed with me for about 12 years. On 2nd September I am to begin my trip to Germany, UK, Canada and then USA. See schedule.
Give thanks for the progress I have made in preparing my book for publication in March 2011. I have just sent the corrected manuscript to the publishers.
