NEWS MID SEPTEMBER 2011

Pray for us as we open up various teachings this month! 7th Sep., first class at Ukaya. 16th Sep., first class at Yala. 17th Sep. - special seminar at Bumala. 25th I am to preach at KIST. Pray for KIST opening its doors to new students, and also at St. Phillips Theological College in Maseno where I now have an office. (They might have used me in teaching, except that I had already booked a month away October/November.)

"Effectiveness and Integrity", a book on teaching English in missions, is by the wife to our new Principal at KIST!

Kenyan schools were on strike, but at time of writing teachers have agreed to go back to work so all should be well. I am under pressure to put one of my children into boarding. Schools here love their students to do cramming.

I am finding the opportunities for ministry in local churches challenging as always. Pray that I be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit in conversations, sharing, etc.
